Going into Accounts menu → Sage transfers → Clicking 'Export' → Downloading the CSV file → Manually importing that CSV file into Sage Option 2ĭuring the set up on Sage 2 Way you would've been asked if you would like to have the part installed which automates the Importing of data into Sage. You continue transferring your data into Sage in the exact same way as you have been doing previously: When you are using Sage 2 Way, the transferring of your data into Sage can happen in two ways, depending on the installation option you opted for: Option 1 If an account goes past the 180 day mark without a transaction, this account will be put onto a spreadsheet exported from Waste Logics and put into a folder where Sage will pick it up and import it, so the account goes On Stop in Sage as well. In order for the function to be triggered, an account must not of transacted in Waste Logics for a specified amount of days e.g. 180 days. The Auto credit on stop function is an automated trigger where Waste Logics puts accounts On Stop. If the customer is above a set percentage, then they will appear in this list warning you they are nearly over their credit limit or they are over their credit limit Auto credit on stop function The customers Unexported balance in Waste Logics (orders which are past Manager Sign Off but haven't been exported yet) The customers Work In Progress balance in Waste Logics (the value of orders before Manager Sign Off) + over the 80% mark, or they are completely over their credit limit. The Bell Notification details a list of accounts which are over a set percentage of their credit limit e.g. You will receive a Bell Notification each of the 3 times Waste Logics receives the data from Sage throughout the day. Some of our clients choose to not turn this part of Sage 2 Way on, as it limits when you can import your information into Sage If there is an export file in there, Sage will automatically import this into its database. When you create an export file in Waste Logics, this file then appears in a folder on your server, and Sage will look in the folder at a specified time each day. The 3rd part of the installation, which you can choose to opt in / out for, is a similar automated task to the first part which is usually set to take place just once a day. This function is triggered only when an account hasn't had any transactions booked in the system for a specified amount of days e.g. The 2nd part of the installation is an automatic credit on stop function, where Waste Logics produces a list of customer accounts that should go On Stop. This data gives you an insight into which account customers are over/nearly over their credit limit, using the data stored in the system (work in progress order value) Part 2 The 3 times a day are times of your choosing e.g. The 1st part is an automated task that runs in the background which creates a transfer file 3 times a day from Sage, which Waste Logics then picks up at the same time, and it is then imported into Waste Logics automatically. There are 3 parts to the installation. Once the set up is complete and we have turned Sage 2 Way on, this is how each part works: Part 1
